DONATE OLD JEWELLERY AND HELP WOMEN!

Celebrate Courage!! Got old necklaces you haven't fixed, orphan earrings you don't know what to do with, stray beads and baubles hanging around? Put them to good use-- they can help us help women who need our help and support. It's easy just pop them in the mail and send them to us

Send us your unused jewelry to show your support and celebrate the courage of women in shelters. MiMi + You is asking the women in our community to donate your old necklaces, orphan earrings, stray beads and bobbles hanging around. Starting January of 2010 we will be working with our local shelters to have "Creative Workshops". The jewelry you send us will be used as inspiration and product. All necklaces made at the workshops will be sold on our site and 90% of the proceeds will be donated to women’s shelter.

It's easy, just pop them in the mail including a note with your name and e-mail address:

the impact

MiMi + You Celebrate Courage program’s aim is to give women an opportunity to express their hopes and plans for the future through art, creativity and collaboration. Our “Creative Workshop” held at women’s shelters are a place where women can move away from their worries and instead come together to focus on a new way of expressing themselves. We will also hold monthly “Community Creative Workshops” open to women in our community who want to give back to this worthy cause by giving their time to make necklaces which will be posted on the MiMi + You website for sale and the proceed will be donated to women’s shelters. In these workshops women learn how to create “One of a Kind” necklaces that are as much about fashion and art as they are an expression of the women who make it.
