about Nature Conservancy of Canada:

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is this country's leading land conservation organization. Our mission is to protect the diversity of nature by preserving Canada's most ecologically significant natural habitats.

We are a non-profit organization that works with individual landowners, community stakeholders and other conservation organizations and partners to secure lands through outright purchase, land donations and conservation easements.

NCC empowers Canadians, to take direct action to save the lands and wildlife that make our country great. NCC is rooted in communities, with a long history of local community involvement. Since 1962 we have helped to protect more than 2 million acres (800,000 hectares) of habitats creating a legacy for future generations.

NCC produces results you can walk on forever.
